PURPOSE: A utility iron is provided to increase a reactive force due to a collision between a head and a golf ball and to reduce a swing trajectory, thereby increasing the driving distance of a user by allowing the user to accurately hit the ball. CONSTITUTION: A utility iron includes a head part(12) and a shaft(14). The head part is formed into an existing iron shape(excluding a wood head such as a dip face). The shaft is connected to the head part. A lie angle is 61 to 63 degrees, a loft angle is 20 to 26 degrees, the weight of the head is 270 to 290 grams, and the length of the shaft is 35 to 37.5 inches. Therefore, a reactive force due to a collision between the head part and a golf ball increases, and the driving distance of the ball increases because the weight of the head part is larger than the weight of an iron having a low number.
