<p>PURPOSE: A system and a method for cooling an electric machine module are provided to effectively cool an electric machine. CONSTITUTION: A module(10) comprises a housing having a sleeve member(14), a first end cap(16), and a second end cap(18). An electric machine is accommodated inside a cavity formed by the sleeve member and the first and second end caps. The sleeve member and the first and second end caps are coupled by a coupling device(17) to surround the electric machine arranged in the cavity. The housing is formed of a material which endures at an operation temperature of the electric machine.</p> |
