A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is provided to execute cleaning properly according to the condition of a surface to be cleaned by installing a rotation control unit for controlling rotation of a cleaning member sweeping debris of the surface to be cleaned. A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner comprises a body, a cleaning member(120), a rotation device, and a rotation control unit. The body has a debris suction port installed at the lower part. The cleaning member is capable of rotating at the body. The rotation device rotates the cleaning member. The rotation control unit controls rotation of the rotation device according to the condition of a surface to be cleaned. Consequently, the debris attached to a carpet is easily removed by forming the rotation control unit for rotating the cleaning member in case of cleaning the surface to be cleaned such as the carpet. |
