PURPOSE: A surface cleaning device for a steel plate surface is provided to maximize foreign materials removing efficiency by rotating and moving a brush from side to side. CONSTITUTION: A surface cleaning device for a steel plate surface comprises a rotary plate(10), a lateral side cleaning unit, and a driving unit. The rotary plate is arranged at least one lateral side end of a steel plate(100). The lateral side cleaning unit removes the foreign materials on the steel plate by being pushed to the side portion of the steel plate. The driving unit rotates the rotary plate. The lateral side cleaning unit comprises a groove(12) and upper and lower brushes(14, 16). The groove is formed for the passing of a strip. The upper and the lower brushes are formed to be faced with each other and removes foreign materials by being contacted with the upper and the bottom portion of the steel plate passing through the groove portion. |
