PURPOSE: A brake pad abrasion warning system is provided to inform a driver of replacing time for a brake pad due to abrasion by one or both sides of the brake pad without generating noise and disk damage. CONSTITUTION: A brake pad abrasion warning system comprises a stop switch(10), a unit(20), a flow rate sensor(30), and a power circuit board B(40). The stop switch recognizes the operation state of a brake pedal. When the stop switch is turned on, the unit is inputted with the internal oil input value of a cylinder(4) and outputs an operation signal through a warning(25). The flow rate sensor recognizes an oil flow rate inside the cylinder for delivering to the unit. The power circuit is mounted in one side of a piston(3) and is applied with an electric current by coming in contact with a disk(1) when the brake pad is being worn out.
