PURPOSE: A voice coil motor is provided to facilitate in managing the tolerance and prevent the stiffness of an optical shaft caused by the tolerance of the parts. CONSTITUTION: A voice coil motor(500) comprises a base(100), a bobbin assembly(200), and a cover can assembly(300). An opening is formed in the center of the base. The bobbin assembly includes a bobbin(210) receiving a lens, a coil block(220) arranged in the outer periphery of the lower part of a plate spring(230) joined to the underside of the bobbin. The cover can assembly includes a cover can(310), a magnet(320), an upper plate spring(330), and a spacer(340). The cover can forms an opening exposing the bobbin while covering the bobbin assembly. The magnet is fixed to the inner surface of the cover can and faces the coil block. A part of the plate spring is joined to the top surface of the bobbin. The spacer joins the rest of the upper plate spring, thereby being fixed to the cover can. |
