A polyester sheet composition is provided to realize excellent transparency while maintaining flame retardancy and mechanical physical properties to a level equal to or greater than conventional sheet compositions. A polyester sheet composition comprises (1) 100 mol of terephthalic acid and an esterified product thereof, (2) 70-97 mol of ethylene glycol, (3) 3-30 mol of an aliphatic diol-based compound which is represented by the formula 1, (4) 0.65-6.5 mol of a phosphorus-based flame retardant which is represented by the formula 2. In the formulae 1 and 2, each of m, n and q is an integer of 1-4, each of R1, R2, R3 and R4 is hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl group, and each of R5 and R6 is hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 hydroxy alkyl group. Preferably, the polyester sheet composition maintains an intrinsic viscosity to a range of 0.76-1.3. |
