PURPOSE: An automatic control type decelerating device for preventing falling is provided to minimize the collision with the ground by reducing the falling speed due to the self-load in an abnormal operation of a driving unit. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control type decelerating device(100) comprises a differential gear unit(110) and a deceleration unit(120). The differential gear unit comprises a casing(111), an inner gear unit(113), and a ring gear(112) and transfers power to an output shaft(117) by interlocking with a driving unit(M) in order to rotate the output shaft. The deceleration unit comprises a deceleration shaft(121), a deceleration brake(122), a worm(123), and a worm gear(124) and operates in an abnormal operation of the driving unit.
