PURPOSE: An energy saving system using the waste heat of a ship is provided to produce electric energy by collecting the medium and low temperature waste heat of engine cooling water. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving system using the waste heat of a ship comprises a medium and low temperature waste heat recovery device(300) and a low temperature cooling water system(900). The medium and low temperature waste heat recovery device is operated by working fluid that is an organic refrigerant having a lower boiling point than water. The low temperature cooling water system cools the working fluid of the medium and low temperature waste heat recovery device.
