The system has a laser beam transmitter (1) for generating a flat laser beam (2). A target (3) is arranged with a frame (31), and a set of photosensors (32) is distributed on the frame. A set of coordinates of the photosensors is defined. An evaluation circuit (4) is connected with the target. The evaluation circuit receives signals from the set of photosensors touched by the flat laser beam to provide information (Saxi, Sbxj) of a position of the beam on the target.
