PURPOSE: A nonslip mat for a gateway of a railway vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to clearly maintain around a guide rail part by preventing a gap between a guide rail part and a horizontal plate part. CONSTITUTION: A nonslip mat(2) for a gateway of a railway vehicle(4) comprises a horizontal plate part(8), a coupling part(10), and a guide rail part(14). The horizontal plate part is mounted on the gateway of the railway vehicle and has an uneven frictional part having protruded portions and groove portions. The coupling part is formed in one end of the horizontal plate part and is coupled to a door sill of the gateway of the railway vehicle. The guide rail part guides the gateway of the railway vehicle; is protruded from the horizontal plate; and has an internal space(28) of underside is opened.
