Lithium-containing metal oxides (I) are new. Lithium-containing metal oxides of formula (Li a + y(M1 ( 1 - t )Mo t) 2M2 b(O 1 - xF 2 x) c) (I) are new. M1 : Ni, Mn, Co, Fe and/or V; M2 : B, Al, Si, P, Ti or Mo; a : 4-6; b : 0-1.8, where the ratio of a and b is greater than 0.45; c : 3.8-14; x : 0-1; y : -0.5 to 0.5; and t : 0-0.9. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composite material comprising (I) and carbon (less than 20 wt.%); (2) an accumulator of lithium-ion battery comprising a positive electrode; and (3) the preparation of (I). |
