PURPOSE: A search service providing device and a method thereof are provided to reduce user inconvenience by providing various overlapped links when providing a searching result. CONSTITUTION: A searching result generation unit(110) generates a first searching result including links corresponding to the received query. A searching result analysis unit(120) determines similarity between a first and a second link including the first searching result. When the similarity between the first and the second link is counted, a searching result control unit(130) generates a second searching result in which the second link is excluded from the second searching result. A searching result providing unit(150) provides the second searching result according to the received query. The searching result analysis unit determines the similarity between the first and the second link by comparing a tag of a second document corresponding to the second link with the first document corresponding to the first link.
