The invention relates to a phytotherapeutic product to be used in the therapy of microbial infections and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the product comprises 2 parts of essential oil of Thymi herba aerial parts, 2 parts of essential oil of Salviae folium and 2 parts of essential oil of Millefolii flores, the parts being expressed by volume, embedded in 100 parts by weight of atomized extract obtained by processing the Thymi herba aqueous extractive solution, the resulting product containing thymol, linalool, thujone, limonene, 4.882% polyphenol carboxylic acids expressed as rosemary acid and 2.821% flavones expressed as rutoside and being presented as a fine brown-yellow powder with a bitter aromatic taste and characteristic smell. The process claimed by the invention consists in closed-circuit entraining the essential oil from each of said plants, with water vapour, at a plant : solvent ratio of 1:10 m/v, at the boiling temperature, for 2...4 h, concentrating the aqueous extract of Thymi herba to a volume of 1.5 : 1 v/m as compared with the amount of plant material, atomizing the concentrated solution and embedding 2 parts by volume of essential oil into 100 parts by weight of atomized extract, followed by homogenization, spraying and sieving the product.
|
