PURPOSE: A gene construct encoding chimeric fusion proteins of Plasmodium vivax is provided to ensure superior reactivity and to promote immunogenicity and antigenicity. CONSTITUTION: A gene construct encoding a chimeric fusion protein of Plasmodium vivax comprises: a nucleotide sequence encoding ICB(interspecies conserved region) of merozoite surface protein-1(PvMSP-1) of Plasmodium vivax; a nucleotide sequence encoding a linker motif; and a nucleotide sequence encoding TR(tandem repeat region) of circumsporozoite protein(PvCSP) of Plasmodium vivax. The linker motif is a Gly-Pro linker. MSP-1 ICB has an amino acid of sequence number 1. |
