PURPOSE: A side marker lamp unit for vehicle is provided to increase the visibility of a rear side by directing the side marker lamp to a rear side when emergently stopping the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A housing(20) is arranged at a side(S) of a vehicle. The housing comprises an opening part(20a). A lamp part(50) is accommodated by the housing. A lamp part irradiates light. A hinge shaft is combined with the housing and a rear side of the lamp part in a longitudinal direction. The hinge shaft supports the lamp part to rotate to a rear side of the housing.
