PURPOSE: A dental floss with a regularly changing sectional form is provided to remove residual food regardless of the shape of the residual shape. CONSTITUTION: When a tensile force is applied to the both ends of the dental floss with a regularly changing sectional form, the dental floss is stretched in both ways and the cross-sectional area is minimized to pass the gap between teeth. When the tensile force is removed, the residual food is removed by operating the dental floss from the both ends. After the removal, the dental floss is removed to the outside of a mouth.
