<p>The invention relates to a gas-liquid heat exchanger made of stainless steel and to a process for manufacturing the same, the heat exchanger performing the transfer of the heat from a source of hot burnt gases to a liquid which is used for producing hot domestic water or for heating a passenger compartment. The claimed heat exchanger comprises a conduit assembly (1), some fins (2) for increasing the transfer of heat and an end fin (3), the conduit assembly (1) consisting of straight conduit portions (1. 1), some return conduits (1.2), a connection (1. 3) for supplying the liquid and a connection (1. 4) for discharging the liquid from the heat exchanger, all the parts being non-detachably assembled, and the fins (2) have some areas deformed by bending at various angles for swirling and reducing the speed of hot gases, a bend (c) at extremities and some borders (d and e) for providing a controlled distance between the fins (2) upon mounting. The claimed process consists in drawing and stamping the fins (2) having the areas (a and b) deformed at angles ranging between 5...30°, making the borders (d and e) deformed at angles ranging between 86...89° and the bends (c) of the extremities at angles ranging between 90...100°, with a constant pitch (p) between the fins, the conduit (1) being flattened on several portions (1.1 or 1.5) by introducing said portions into a mould (4) having a fixed part (4. 1) and two mobile parts (4.2), there resulting some curved side walls.</p> |
