<p>The invention relates to a nutritional product, to a process for preparing the same and to utilization thereof for human consumption. The claimed nutritional product is in the form of green foliar plants of Vicia faba with a content of folates of 220μg/100 g of product, 0.02...0.09 mg of vitamin B2, vitamin B6, thiamine, up to 1 mg of vitamin B3, up to 5μg of alpha carotene, 1700μg of beta carotene, 16 mg of ascorbic acid. The claimed process consists in harvesting the cultivated Faba plants, after a period of seed pregermination, under very high density conditions, after 15...25 days from the sowing, when they reach a height of 5...12 cm. The product which exhibits a protein content of 5.6 g per 100 g of immature plant and an energetic content of 170 kJ is suitable for human consumption and has simultaneously nutritive and therapeutic effects.</p> |
