The system (2) has a longeron (5) secured to an upright (4) i.e. centre pillar, of body (1) of vehicle. A retractor support (12) is fixed on a retractor (3) and fixed on the upright. The support includes a top part (17) fixed on the upright on both sides of the retractor and a bottom part (18) free with respect to the upright. The top part of the support is more separated from the longeron than the bottom part of the support. The upright forms housing (9) in which the retractor is placed. The support includes retractable legs (15) fixed at the upright in the top part of the support.
