The present invention relates to medicine, in particular to pharmaceutical industry and provides a novel medical preparation of imatinib mesylate in the form of a capsule comprising a crystalline form of imatinib mesylate as an active substance, mannitol as a filler and pharmaceutically acceptable auxiliary substances selected from a group of disintegrators, gladiants and lubricants. The invention also describes a process for manufacturing said capsule. The granules obtained by dry granulation have increased bulk density, an excellent fluidity without using binders and are stable to absorption of atmospheric moisture. The process of capsule manufacturing is characterized by lesser steps in a production process than that of tablets, wherein the resulted capsule has high stability in storing and provides more convenience in swallowing. |
