PURPOSE: A display device, a touch sensing device, and a touch sensing method are provided to offer a direct control method by receiving a control command with a touch method. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(210) displays images, and a sensing unit(220) generates an infrared scan image for a surface of the display unit. An image processing unit(300) senses the touch area of a user by eliminating a pattern area set from the infrared scan image. A control unit processes an event corresponding to the touch area. The sensing unit includes an infrared sensing unit generating the infrared scan image by sensing an infrared ray reflected by a touch motion from the surface of the display unit.
