ELECTRONIC COMPUTER SYSTEM AND VIRTUAL MACHINE DEPLOYMENT METHOD

This electronic computer system (1) is provided with a plurality of servers (2), a plurality of power supply devices (3), and a control device (4). A virtual machine is deployed upon each of the servers (2). Each of the power supply devices (3) supplies power to servers (2). The control device (4) controls the deployment of the virtual machines with respect to the servers (2). The control device (4) solves an integer-programming problem, described as a function of the deployment of the virtual machines, in which the total power consumption of the power consumption at the servers (2) and the power consumption at the power supply devices (3) is treated as an objective function. The control device (4) deploys virtual machines to each of the servers (2) on the basis of the solution of the integer-programming problem.
