The invention relates to a cosmetic composition including, in a physiologically acceptable aqueous medium, a cucurbic acid compound of formula (I), where R1 is a COOR3 radical, R3 denotes H or a C1-C4 alkyl radical, optionally substituted by one or more hydroxyl groups, and R2 is a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 18 carbon atoms. Said cosmetic composition also contains a homopolymer of a sulfonic-group monomer and a cross-linked acrylic-acid homopolymer. The invention can be used in the care and making-up of keratin materials.
