The drape (1) has two fastening devices (3, 14) for fixation of the drape at a surgical microscope and arranged at an aperture (2). One of the fastening devices extends along a part (4) of an edge (5) of the aperture and comprises a releasable adhesive bond and a clamping device e.g. clip and spring clip. The clamping device comprises a U-shaped work area that is inserted into a groove of the surgical microscope. The other fastening device comprises a connector that is configured as a plate. An elastic element is fastened at different points at an edge of another aperture.
