Disclosed are an austenitic composite antibacterial stainless steel and a manufacturing process therefor involving adding elements, such as copper, silver, rare earth elements, etc., into the stainless steel and allowing the composite antibacterial phase to be separated out on a nanoscale and suspended uniformly in the matrix, achieving the antibacterial goal. The weight percentages (%) of the chemical components in the stainless steel are: C<=0.10%, Cr:13.8-23%, Mn:1.8-12%,Ni: 3-10%, Cu:0.36-4.8%, Ag<=0.23%,Si<1.0%, RE:0.16-3.8%, Mo<=1.00%, N<=1.00%, S<0.035%, P<0.045% and the balance is Fe. The manufacturing process of the stainless steel comprises the steps of smelting, casting, ingot casting or blank casting and cogging, steel rolling, solid solution treatment, etc. The stainless steel material can be widely used in the fields of medical instruments, food processing and domestic hardware, etc.
|
