The audio headphone set (10) has ribbon cables (20,24) having several elongated conductors which are embedded in an electrically insulating material portion extending between connector end (32) and earpiece ends (16,18). A connecting portion (30) is attached to the connector end, and electrically coupled to the conductor. The ear pieces (22,26) are connected to the ear piece ends and electrically coupled to the conductors. The two sides of the insulating material portion are provided with respective colors which are different from one another. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) system for manufacturing ribbon cable; and (2) method for manufacturing headphone set.
