PURPOSE: A switched reluctance motor is provided to facilitate high speed operation by decreasing magnetic flux and torque by a magnetic flux conversion coil. CONSTITUTION: A rotor(210) forms a plurality of salient poles(211). A stator main body(220) forms a plurality of salient poles facing to the rotor. A plurality of phase windings(230a1,230a2,230b1,230b2) wind a coil to the salient pole. A permanent magnet(240) is mounted among the phase windings. A magnetic flux conversion coil(250) is wound to surround the permanent magnet.
