PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a switching loss and smoothly switch a control mode.

SOLUTION: An inverter control device provided includes: a first signal generation section 21 for correcting a sinusoidal reference voltage command signal in a two-arm modulation mode to generate a first voltage command signal; a second signal generation section 22 for generating a second voltage command signal in an overmodulation mode in which a waveform resulting from the superposition of the third harmonic component on the sinusoidal reference voltage command signal have a maximum value of amplitude equal to or greater than the amplitude of a carrier; a selection section 23 for selecting the first voltage command signal when the amplitude of the reference voltage command signal of the first signal generation section 21 is less than a first threshold set at a maximum amplitude value of the reference voltage command signal, and selecting the second voltage command signal when the amplitude of the reference voltage command signal is equal to the first threshold; and a PWM signal generation section for comparing the voltage command signal selected by the selection section 23 with the carrier to generate a pulse width modulation signal.
