PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device for a working machine, by which information on operation conditions of the working machine for a long period of time may be stored at the side of the working machine.

SOLUTION: Weekly report information having a capacity smaller than the capacity required for the storage of daily information for one week is generated on the basis of the daily information for one week stored in a second region 24b of an EEPROM 24. The daily information for one week regarding the generated weekly information is erased from the second region 24b to release the second region 24b. Monthly report information having a capacity smaller than the capacity required for the storage of the weekly information for one month is generated on the basis of the weekly information for one month stored in a third region 24c. The weekly information for one month regarding the generated monthly information is erased from the third region 24c to release the third region 24c.
