<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably remove a polysaccharide component in seawater and maintain the performance of a reverse osmosis membrane, in a seawater desalination system using the reverse osmosis membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The seawater desalination system 100A desalinates the seawater by using the reverse osmosis membrane in a reverse osmosis membrane type seawater desalination apparatus 18. In the seawater supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane type seawater desalination apparatus 18, the polysaccharide containing TEP is adsorbed and removed by a polysaccharide adsorption treatment apparatus 16 (16A, 16B). The polysaccharide adsorbed by the polysaccharide adsorption treatment apparatus 16 is cleaned by a cleaning water supplied from a cleaning water supply device 19. A cleaning condition at this point is decided by the polysaccharide concentration of seawater before and after treatment using the polysaccharide adsorption treatment apparatus 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
