<p>Provided are a wavelength conversion member capable of increasing the brightness of a light source using the wavelength conversion member and a capillary tube for encapsulating a light emission body used for the same. A wavelength conversion member (1) has a capillary tube (10) with both ends being closed and a light emission body (30) encapsulated in the capillary tube (10). The capillary tube (10) has first and second main wall portions (10a, 10b). The first and second main wall portions (10a, 10b) are opposite each other. The first main wall portion (10a) is thicker than the second main wall portion (10b).</p> |
