A laminate (1) has oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer (2), oxygen ion and electron conducting transfer layer (3) having needle- or hill-like structure and formed on the oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer, and storage electrode layer (4) formed on the oxygen ion and electron conducting transfer layer. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) battery cell; (2) manufacture of laminate; and (3) method of storing electrical energy with electrical storage device using the battery cell.
