<p>Provided are an optical measurement apparatus and a calibration method that can perform calibration easily. The apparatus is provided with: a recording unit (26) for recording the value of the ratio of a first detected intensity when illuminating light is irradiated by the measurement probe (3) on a first medium having the same refractive index as the sample (S1) and a second detected intensity when illuminating light is irradiated by the measurement probe (3) on a second medium; and a computing unit (271) for computing the background intensity of background light, to be used when correcting the illumination light returning from the sample (S1), using the product of a third detected intensity when illuminating light is irradiated on the second medium by the measurement probe (3) and the value of the ratio recorded by the recording unit (26).</p> |
