<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium composite metal oxide which is useful for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of showing a high capacity. <P>SOLUTION: Concerning this lithium composite metal oxide represented by formula (A), in powder X-ray diffractometry using CuK α-line, a crystal structure includes a structure belonging to a hexagonal system and a space group R-3m, and a lattice constant a calculated based on the hexagonal system and the space group is ≤2.87 Å. Li<SB POS="POST">x</SB>NiO<SB POS="POST">2±δ</SB>(A) (wherein, 1.05≤x≤1.30 and -0.1≤δ≤0.1 are satisfied.). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
