<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display, and electronic equipment equipped with the same capable of suppressing a temperature rise of light-emitting elements even in the case a light guide plate, the light-emitting elements and a liquid crystal panel are retained by a first metal frame, a resin frame, and a second metal frame. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display 100, a substrate 88 for a light source mounting light-emitting elements 89 has its rear face 882 fixed to a substrate support plate 62 of a metal-made light source support member 60 in a plane contact state. The light source support member 60 is provided with a first contact face 68 in plane contact with the first metal frame 40 and a second contact face 69 in plane contact with the second metal frame 50. By this, heat generated at the light-emitting elements 89 after being transferred to the metal-made light source support member 60 through the light source substrate 88 is released to the first metal frame 40 through the first contact face 68 and to the second metal frame 50 through the second contact face 69. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
