<p>Disclosed are a bearer establishment method and device. The method includes: receiving a bearer establishment request message for requesting bearer establishment sent by a Home NodeB (HNB) or a Home NodeB gateway (HNB GW); and indicating the HNB or HNB GW to establish a bearer with a local gateway (LGW) according to the bearer establishment request message. The device includes: a GPRS service support node (SGSN), a Home NodeB (HNB) and a Home NodeB gateway (GW). The bearer establishment method and device in the embodiments of the present invention can realize bearer establishment between HNB or HNB GW and LGW and avoid user equipment (UE) from generating interaction signalling with the core network under some scenarios, thus being able to save signalling overhead and improving user experience.</p>
