PURPOSE: A home menu setting device and a method thereof are provided to conveniently set a home menu by dragging and dropping a bottom menu on an execution screen. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(151) displays a first page among menu pages including a sub area on a main display area. An input unit(130) receives a command for entering a setting mode editing a sub area included in the first page. When the command is inputted, a control unit(180) displays the setting mode including first and second areas on the display unit. The first area displays the first page in a thumbnail type. The second area displays a menu placed in the sub area included in the first page in the thumbnail type.
