#CMT# #/CMT# The device (3) has a non-return valve (18) and a thermally controlled thermostat valve (19) i.e. hose thermostat, attached to a common supply line (15). The non-return valve and the thermostat valve are provided in respective lines (16, 17), which are branched from the supply line. The non-return valve allows a flow only from a direction of the supply line. A switching element (20) i.e. expansion element, controls the thermostat valve and is arranged in or at an intersection of the lines. The switching element is integrally designed with the non-return valve. #CMT# : #/CMT# The expansion element contains wax, paraffin and oil. An independent claim is also included for a drive device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Valve device for a drive device (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The switching element controls the thermostat valve and is arranged in or at the intersection of the lines, thus enabling better separation of cooling circuits, and providing the thermostat valve without a permanent, separate bypass and a pilot flow.
