<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body capable of suppressing an increase in the number of components and capable of emitting light emitted from an LED to a rear side of a substrate, and to provide a lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide body 1 is provided with a light incident face 10 into which light emitted from an LED 5 as a light source is made incident, and so constituted that the light incident from the light incident face 10 is guided and can be emitted as illumination light from a front side face 12 having a function as a light emitting face. The light guide body 1 is provided with the front side face 12 located at a front side in an illumination direction with a light guide 11 for guiding light interposed and a rear side face 13 located at a rear side in the illumination direction. The front side face 12 has a first face 17 which is a normal of the front side face 12 and of which the normal going toward the outside of the light guide part 11 from the front side face 12 crosses an optical axis X1 of the LED 5 and a second face 18 of which the normal does not cross the optical axis X1.
