<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an inkjet recording material in a short time, the material which allows such excellent print quality to be obtained when used in an aqueous inkjet printer and of which ink absorptivity, color developing properties, and water resistance of an image part are excellent, an image neither blurs nor cracks even when preserved under high humidity, and failures such as a crack do not occur even in a blank part. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the inkjet recording material comprises steps of: applying a coating liquid containing a hydrophilic polymer and a cross-linking agent to a water-unabsorbing support in order to form at least one ink receptive layer thereon; drying the applied liquid to obtain the ink receptive layer; and aging the obtained ink receptive layer under a low pressure environment of ≤800 hPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
