<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unleaded high octane number gasoline collectively suppressing the inlet valve deposit, combustion chamber deposit and injector deposit of a gasoline engine while preventing lightening of gasoline or decrease in a gasoline yield by using a heavy fraction as a high octane number base material compared to conventional technology. <P>SOLUTION: The unleaded high octane number gasoline includes a catalytically reformed gasoline of the boiling point of 25-190°C including at least one selected from: a fraction of the boiling point of 75°C or less fractionated from a catalytically reformed gasoline; a toluene fraction fractionated from a catalytically reformed gasoline; and a fraction including a C9-12 aromatic hydrocarbon fractionated from a catalytically reformed gasoline. The gasoline has (1) a research octane number of from 95 to 105; (2) a motor octane number of from 83 to 92; (3) a sulfur content of at most 10 mass ppm; (4) a 90 vol% distillation temperature of from 130 to 180°C; (5) a bottom oil amount at 130°C of from 10 to 35 vol%; (6) an amount of polycyclic aromatic groups having three or more rings of at most 100 mass ppm; (7) a cleaning agent in a range from 10 to 500 volume ppm; and (8) ethyl tertiary-butyl ether in a range from 1 to 25 vol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
