PURPOSE: A toaster is provided to reduce power consumption by minimizing heat generating time of a heating unit for roasting a cooking object. CONSTITUTION: A toaster(10) comprises a body(100), a heating unit(200), and an adiabatic unit(300). The body supports a slot(110) for insertion or withdrawal of a cooking object and includes an observation unit(150) which is transparently formed. The heating unit includes a base, a heating layer, and a protecting layer. The base comprises a first surface and a second surface and is located in a side of the cooking object in order to heat the cooking object. The heating layer is laminated in a predetermined section of the first surface and is physically connected with a plurality of conductive nanoparticles. The protecting layer protects the heating layer. The adiabatic unit is located between the heating unit and the body and blocks transferring heat for cooking to the body. |
