<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of image quality when white peaking processing is applied to an image obtained in super-resolution processing. <P>SOLUTION: A projection apparatus includes: an input part 11 into which a color image signal is inputted; projection systems 13 to 18 in which an achromatic-color brightness image and a chromatic image are projected; a super-resolution processing part 12 in which the number of constituted pixels is increased in accordance with a parameter set to an image signal to be inputted in the input part 11, and a high frequency component in an image is emphasized; and a CPU 26 which controls projection time of the brightness image to the chromatic image projected in the projection systems 13 to 18 in accordance with the parameter used in the super-resolution processing part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
