<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control device that further properly compensates the instantaneous interruption of torque transmitted to the side of a drive wheel during a speed change to a shift-up direction by using motor torque, surely prevents the uncomfortable feeling of a driver resulting from torque drop-out or the like, and can improve acceleration feeling. <P>SOLUTION: When the transmission of the torque to the side of the front wheel 1 of an engine 7 is instantaneously interrupted due to the disconnection of a clutch associated with the speed change to the shift-up direction, the motor torque is transmitted to the side of the front wheel 1 by the operation of a motor 3, and torque-compensation is performed.
