<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus in the liquid chamber of which bubbles are hard to accumulate so as to enable the liquid to be stably ejected. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting apparatus 10 is structured as follows: the liquid chamber 110 is formed by winding or folding a tube 120 having an inlet port 110a and an outlet port 110b in a spiral manner between the inlet port 110a and the outlet port 110b; and the tube 120 is pressed to reduce the volume of the liquid chamber 110 by driving a piezoelectric element 112. According to such a structure, the liquid in the liquid chamber 110 is pressurized by reducing the volume of the liquid chamber 110, and the pressurized liquid can be ejected from a nozzle 102 communicating with the outlet port 110b of the liquid chamber 110 in a pulse mode. When filling the liquid chamber 110 with the liquid, the flow of the liquid in the liquid chamber 110 is restricted along the tube 120 so as to inhibit accumulation of air bubbles in a portion where the flow of the liquid is slow, and hence the air bubbles in the liquid chamber 110 can be discharged quickly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
