<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent undesired power on (off) without sacrificing operability at power on (off) operation. <P>SOLUTION: When simultaneous operation of a power source button and a simultaneous operation member is detected, a CPU performs power on processing, and shifts a camera into a power on state.
