<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyether-based polymer having both high molecular weight and narrow molecular weight distribution, and containing an oxirane monomer unit having a halogen atom or an alkenyl group. <P>SOLUTION: This polyether-based polymer is produced by ring-opening polymerizing an oxirane monomer having at least one functional group selected from a halogen atom and an alkenyl group, in the presence of a catalyst comprising an onium salt of a compound containing a group XV or group XVI atom of the periodic table, and trialkyl aluminum whose alkyl groups are all linear alkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
