<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily find a residual bill without opening a conveyance path when the bill remains on the conveyance path due to conveyance jam. <P>SOLUTION: The medium processor includes a pair of an upper conveyance guide plate 16 and a lower conveyance guide plate 17 for forming the conveyance path and conveys a bill between the guide plates 16 and 17. All or a part of at least one of the guide plates 16 and 17 is composed of a material making the bill conveyed between both of the guide plates 16 and 17 visible from the outside of the plate surfaces.
