<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle which raises the maximum voltage which can be supplied to a motor in a high-altitude place. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle 100 comprises: a main battery MB which supplies power to the wheel-driving motor MG; a sub-battery SB which supplies power to auxiliary machines; a voltage converter 40; and Y-capacitors YC1, YC2. An output voltage of the sub-battery SB is set lower than an output voltage of the main battery MB, and the voltage converter 40 lowers the output voltage of the main battery MB or a voltage of the regeneration power of the motor MG to a voltage suitable for charging the sub-battery SB. Y-capacitors YC1, YC2 are connected to an input side or an output side of the voltage converter 40. When the altitude at which the vehicle is located exceeds an altitude threshold, the electric vehicle 100 reduces capacities of the Y-capacitors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
